Presents: Mussel Beach: The Crushing Weight of Invasive Species
Aquatic invasive species and shipwrecks collide in the March 2010 “Science Bag” presentations by Drs. Carmen Aguilar and Russell Cuhel. Held at the UW-Milwaukee Physics building every Friday evening at 800PM plus a 2PM Sunday Matinee on March 14, the interactive program is free and open to the public. Casually-presented lessons about Quagga Mussels, lakewater physics, buoyancy, ecological competition, shipwreck preservation, and related topics include hands-on audience participation activities, underwater movies, and lively discussion.
